SEE WHO CAME TO THE REUNION

Dates for reunion were Friday, August 22 to Sunday, August 24, 2008

Here is the basic schedule of events:

Yacht ClubFriday night- We had a casual night at the Cleveland Yacht Club. Very casual dress, picnic style food, soft drinks and dessert and cash bar. Because many generous clasmates have sent donations, the price has been reduced to $10 per person. (Of course, we still welcome any additional donations to help cover the Reunion 2008 events!)

Saturday Morning- Lolly The Trolley Ride that picked up at LHS and the Holiday Inn. The ride took us through Lakewood to see the new schools: Harrison, Hayes, Horace Mann, and Emerson will be new elementary schools, Garfield, and Harding will be the new middle schools, McKinley, Taft and Madison will have been closed, and LHS will be 1/2 of the way completed. We also saw the new Y and the new library.

Saturday Evening- A buffet dinner at the Holiday Inn. We enjoyed background chamber music from Lakewood High students... and much more!.

Sunday - Nautica Boat trip on the Cuyahoga - This was a cruise and brunch.

Holiday InnHotel- We had rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn Westlake, so the in-towners and out-of-towners alike will have a great rate.
Many classmates enjoyed being able to talk well into the night with old friends, while their spouse could enjoy the "sanctity" of their rooms!

A picture book memento- We had a professional phootgrapher take our photos as we entered. The book should be ready soon... and don't forget to send in your check right away!

Now, we're already looking forward to our fifty-fifth... and welcome your help. We'd appreciate your feedback and ideas for the next one.... even if you can't attend. Please take a moment to use our convenient online survey!

And.... please help us update your address and email, if they've changed recently. Send to update@lakewoodhs58.com.
